A Healthier Commute
Bicycling is an efficient, low-cost commute alternative that increases safety, improves health, relieves traffic congestion, and reduces pollution. Biking is good for both you and your community!
Commute.org provides a variety of services and programs to support bicyclists:
We also celebrate National Bike Month throughout May, with Bike to Work Day (changed to Bike to Wherever Days for September 2020) and the month-long Bay Area Bike Challenge on the Love to Ride Platform*. Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and San Francisco Bicycle Coalition offer plenty of resources, programs, and events to support bicycling in the region.
*These events have been rescheduled due to COVID-19. We look forward to celebrating Bike to Wherever Days in September 2020.
Spring 2020 Bicycle Education Webinar Series
Commute.org partnered with Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) to produce a 5-week series of webinars focused on bicycling. The experts at SVBC offered valuable information on topics such as safety tips and bike commuting to help you feel more confident as a rider. Check out the recordings below if you were unable to join us.
