Introducing Our New Logo: Movement, Momentum, and Mission

The image showcases the new Commute.org logo, capturing a sense of momentum with its circular design in blue, yellow, and white segments on the left and "Commute.org" elegantly displayed in black on the right.

At Commute.org, we’re always looking ahead—helping San Mateo County commuters find smarter, more sustainable ways to get where they need to go. As part of that vision, we are excited to unveil our refreshed brand identity, featuring a new logo that reflects our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainable transportation.

A Logo That Moves with You

Our new logo is more than just a design update—it is a symbol of movement, momentum, and mission. A key feature of the updated brand is the Commute.org monogram, a bold, dynamic “C” in motion.

  • The angled positioning of the “C”, combined with the upward-angled yellow element, creates a sense of rotation, evoking the motion of a wheel and reinforcing our mission to keep commuters moving efficiently.
  • The yellow element, which completes the circular design, represents momentum, optimism, and a forward-looking vision, reflecting our dedication to innovation and impact.
  • While our organization’s name remains the primary focus, the monogram serves as a distinctive graphic element that enhances brand recognition.

A Fresh Look for a Bright Future

Our new logo embodies our commitment to helping San Mateo County commuters find smart, sustainable transportation solutions,” said John Ford, Executive Director at Commute.org. “Paired with our recent accreditation, this new identity reflects both where we are today and where we are headed as we continue to evolve our programs to meet the needs of the communities we serve.”

This logo refresh comes at an exciting time for Commute.org, as we continue expanding our programs, building partnerships, and enhancing the commuting experience for San Mateo County commuters. Whether you bike, walk, carpool, take transit, or telework, our mission remains the same: to make sustainable commuting easier and more accessible for everyone.
