Free Bike Safety Workshops for Employers

Are you interested in receiving a free bike safety workshop at your workplace in San Mateo County? Encourage your employees or coworkers to try biking to work and profit from the myriad of incredible health benefits while simultaneously saving the environment from transportation pollution, the largest contributor of greenhouse gas emissions. During a bike safety workshop, we can address any questions or apprehensions that your employees may have about biking to work.

The topics covered in the workshop include: basics of riding; skills such as hand signals, turning, changing and sharing the lane; choosing gear; route planning; and safety recommendations as well as time for questions.

This is a great introductory workshop for people who are new to bicycling or interested in learning more about how to enjoy safe and comfortable bike commuting in all seasons. This is also an opportunity for more advanced cyclists to share tips with fellow riders and walk away with new knowledge as well.

If you are interested in Commute.org bringing a free bike workshop to your workplace San Mateo County, please submit a request at this form. Limit one per employer per fiscal year (July 1-June 30) We have a limited number of free workshops available each year, so schedule yours today!
