The webinar, titled “Listen, Learn, Act: Commute Programs for San Mateo County Employers”, was well-attended by private-sector companies, property managers, and local government agencies.  

Webinar Highlights 

The webinar featured five insightful sessions with industry experts and peer employers: 

  • Complying with Local & Regional TDM Regulations: Guidelines for ensuring compliance with the Bay Area Commuter Benefits Program and TDM regulations that require surveying. 
  • Leveraging Free Offerings from Commute.org: Guidance on how to maximize the benefits of free resources provided by Commute.org to enhance your employee commute program. 
  • Achieving Certification for Employee Commute Programs: Overview on how employee commute programs can be recognized regionally and nationally through the new Commute.org Employer Recognition Program and the Best Workplaces for Commuters. 
  • Accessing Assistance Programs for Income-Eligible Employees: Information on assistance programs that support income-eligible employees with their commuting needs.
