Celebrate Transit Month with Commute.org! From September 1 through September 30, log your transit trips on the CommuteStar platform for a chance to win a $100 e-gift card—we’re giving away two prizes this month.

Whether you’re riding the bus, train, ferry, or shuttle, each trip you log counts as an entry. The more you ride and log, the better your chances!

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Sign in or create a CommuteStar account at my.commute.org or download the CommuteStar App on the Apple Store or Google Play.

  2. Log up to 2 transit trips per day between September 1 and September 30, 2025.

  3. That’s it—you’re automatically entered! Winners will be notified via e-mail.

In addition to our Transit Month Promotion, join us in celebrating the buses, trains, and people that make the wonderful transit system we all know and ride. During Transit Month, you can look forward to dozens of transit-focused events, a region-wide Ride Contest and prizes, a San Francisco Ride-Along and Rally with the Mayor and Board of Supervisors, and our Rider First Awards Ceremony. 

There are 60+ exciting events taking place across the Bay Area this September! Transit Month is a great opportunity to build community, explore the Bay Area, raise awareness about the importance of keeping our region moving through transit, and get involved in the local organizations in your area. Whether you want to join a group for a transit-accessible hike or bike ride, grab a drink at a casual social, chat with CEOs of transit agencies, ride on historic streetcars, take transit to visit a museum, or join dozens of other events, there is an event for everyone!
